In this season of lush greenery and gentle summer breeze, Beijing Gaopeng (Yangzhou, Taizhou) Law Firm celebrates its 20th anniversary. On July 20th, by the Mingyue Lake in Yangzhou City, Gao Peng (Yangzhou, Taizhou) gathered with colleagues, partners, and guests from all walks of life to review the past, look forward to the future, and participate in the grand event together.

Wang Jingling, Vice President of the Society and former Deputy Director of Taizhou Construction Engineering Management Bureau, and Wang Taigao, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Nanjing University Law School, Comrades in charge of the Municipal Lawyers Association, including Zhu Feilong, Zhou Guanggui, Xu Bin, Zong Honggen, Dai Jiazhang, senior partner of Beijing Gaopeng Law Firm, Bai Yazheng, and guests from the legal profession, enterprises, institutions, and various sectors of society.

The evening party kicked off with the wonderful hosting of lawyers Jiang Wei and Hu Yufeng. Firstly, Diao Chenglu, Director of Gaopeng (Yangzhou) Law Firm in Beijing, delivered a speech, in which he deeply reviewed the 20-year journey of Gaopeng (Yangzhou, Taizhou) Law Firm. From the initial stage of learning to becoming the leading comprehensive law firm in the local area, each step embodies the wisdom and sweat of all Gaopeng people. Director Diao expressed special thanks to the leaders at all levels and friends from all walks of life who have long cared for and supported the development of Gaopeng (Yangzhou, Taizhou), and looked forward to the future. He stated that he will continue to adhere to the core values of "integrity and excellence" and contribute to the promotion of comprehensive rule of law.

Subsequently, Mr. Wu Biqiao, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Yangzhou Construction Engineering Holdings Group Co., Ltd., delivered a speech as a representative of the consulting unit. He praised the professional competence and service level of lawyers at Gaopeng (Yangzhou) and looked forward to more opportunities for cooperation between the two parties in the future. Professor Wang Taigao, former vice dean and doctoral supervisor of the Law School of Nanjing University, spoke as a representative of the doctoral studio. He reviewed the profound relationship with Gaopeng (Yangzhou) Institute and sent a message to Gaopeng Institute for a more brilliant future.

At the celebration, guests such as Zhu Feilong, President of Yangzhou Lawyers Association, and Bai Yazheng, Partner of Beijing Gaopeng Law Firm, were invited to deliver speeches. They congratulated Gaopeng Yangzhou and Gaopeng Taizhou on their achievements over the past 20 years and hoped that Gaopeng would continue to uphold its original intention and contribute to the construction of the rule of law.

With the change of lights and the sound of music, Chen Qin, former deputy director of the Municipal People's Congress, Xia Zemin, former vice chairman of the Municipal Association and chief advisor of Gaopeng (Yangzhou) Institute, Professor Gao Yongming, vice dean of the Law School of Yangzhou University, Dr. Qi Zhaoyue, chief lawyer of Gaopeng (Yangzhou) Institute, and Bian Weimin, director of Gaopeng (Taizhou) Institute, all took the stage to cut the birthday cake. The whole audience raised their glasses and wished Gaopeng (Yangzhou, Taizhou) Institute a happy 20th birthday.

Over the past twenty years, Gaopeng (Yangzhou) has developed into a professional team consisting of 54 full-time and part-time lawyers and 7 intern lawyers. The business scope has also expanded from a single litigation business to a comprehensive law firm covering multiple legal service areas such as corporate investment and financing, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, intellectual property, etc. The service scope extends to the entire province of Jiangsu and the Yangtze River Delta, forming a strong regional service network.

During the evening party, Lawyer Gao Peng choreographed and performed a wonderful artistic performance in the form of choir, poetry recitation, dance, etc., expressing his celebration of the 20th anniversary of the law firm.

In addition, a commemorative trophy titled "Twenty Years of Unity, Gratitude for You" was specially presented to honor colleagues who have been with Gaopeng Institute for more than 10 years.

The most eye-catching event of the evening was undoubtedly the award ceremony for the champion of the city wide lawyer debate competition. At the just concluded 4th Yangzhou Lawyer Debate Competition, two teams from Gao Peng (Yangzhou) won the championship and the title of winning team respectively with outstanding performances. The award ceremony was filled with thunderous applause and a lively atmosphere.

Looking ahead to the future, Gao Peng (Yangzhou) is full of confidence. The construction of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics is at a new historical starting point, and the comprehensive implementation of the strategy of governing the country by law has provided broad development space for the legal industry.
